Top Tip: “Firstly, recruitment is not an easy trade; it is involved with the human condition, and you are part of the process of (hopefully) securing someone’s dream job, so understanding human nature is very important. For example, why is the candidate looking for a new role?
My essential advice for any would-be recruiters out there is to grow your network (for example, I currently have 15k+ LinkedIn connections). Also, don’t just connect with candidates, give back to your online community: Share new articles; offer tips on recruitment etc. It’s important to keep your connections actively involved in all your LinkedIn posts.”
