‘Tis the season to be merry, and as the air fills with the scent of pine and the sweet melody of carols, join us for a special Christmas edition of MG Meets. In this festive celebration, we unwrap the heartfelt stories and cherished memories from the remarkable Manning Global Managers – individuals who not only excel in their professional roles but also embody the spirit of the season with warmth and joy!
Our festive journey begins with our Talent Acquisition Manager, Shreela Rajnish with a heart-warming message to make you smile:
“The best Christmas gift is to realise how much you already have.
For me Christmas is always all about feeling more festive and having good food, laughter, happy hours, spending vacation days with family and loved ones.
Christmas is doing a little something for someone. Overall, December really is the season to be more jolly.
It’s that feeling of joy, warmth and nostalgia people feel when the jingle bells start jingling!”
In another delightful chapter, we share in the joy of Hemavathi Mathadmani, our Talent Acquisition Manager, as she reminisces about her magical Christmas memories:
“Every year I remember that I used to be part of Christmas plays in school on the biblical story of Jesus – playing characters like Mother Mary, Angel, etc.
For me, it’s a season of love and happiness.”
And what’s a celebration without a festive party hop? Our Digital Marketing Specialist, Matthew Elliott, takes us on a delightful journey to his adopted home of Zagreb this Christmas ’23 edition. Describing the pleasure of the Croatian capital, Matthew shares:
“The joy of Zagreb is that it’s miles away from the typical overbuilt and overcrowded modern metropolis.
Its size proves that bigger isn’t always better – in fact it’s custom-made for small walks, idle chatter and cups of coffee. Lots of coffee!
As for the architecture? The centre nods to its Austro-Hungarian heritage.
So, next time you’re on the tube and facing a rush-hour meltdown, give thought to a more cultural commute… Zagreb’s closer than you think.“
