This summer, Manning Global’s Indian team took a break from their remote workspaces and gathered in the vibrant city of Jaipur, India, for an extraordinary team-building adventure. This event brought everyone together in a shared experience full of culture, history, and connection!
The team’s stay in a luxurious hotel perfectly captured Jaipur’s charm, offering a stylish sanctuary after their daily explorations. It was a true “palace” of relaxation amid their royal adventure.
The adventure began at the Amer Palace, an 11th-century fortress that feels like a slice of fairy tale royalty. Perched on a hill, the palace provided stunning views and a deep dive into Rajasthan’s regal history.
Did you know? Amer Palace, also known as Amber Fort, features a unique blend of Hindu and Rajput architectural styles, and its intricate mirror work is famous for reflecting even the smallest rays of light.
Next was the City Palace, showcasing a magnificent blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. This site was a genuine “royal” treat, reflecting Jaipur’s opulent heritage in every corner.
Fun Fact: The City Palace complex is still partially used by the royal family for ceremonial purposes. It’s like living history right in the heart of Jaipur!
No trip to Jaipur would be complete without a stop at the Hawa Mahal, the iconic “Palace of Winds.” Its intricate lattice work and stunning façade were a hit, offering perfect photo ops and a glimpse into the city’s architectural genius.
And let’s talk about the food – an absolute culinary feast! The team dived into Rajasthani cuisine, savouring dishes bursting with flavours and spices. From tangy chutneys to rich curries, every meal was a celebration of local culinary traditions.
Oh, and one of the standout moments was a visit to an elephant sanctuary. Connecting with these gentle giants was a trunk-tastic experience, highlighting the importance of wildlife preservation and offering a unique bonding opportunity.
