MG Meets Priyanka Rastogi, Senior Business Manager

When she’s not helping clients and candidates keep their recruitment process running with regular updates and quality, flexible solutions, she’s busy cooking the most delicious dishes on the planet! Here’s Priyanka’s thoughts on remote recruiting, staying connected with her work colleagues and her hopes for the future…

Firstly, how are you feeling? What’s it like to be working remotely – how has your routine / work changed?

I am fine, thank you! Working remotely hasn’t changed much for me. However, family being home has helped me a lot with scheduling my day far better than before. I have become more efficient in my daily tasks.

Any advice for people working remotely?

Yes! Here’s my five tips for making your remote working experience less stressful and more productive:

  • Designate a specific workspace at your home, especially a spot that provides lots of natural light
  • Create a comfortable environment (see above)
  • Maintain a consistent routine
  • Stay connected with your colleagues!
  • Finally, be sure to take time for activities like yoga, cooking or whatever you like, to relax after work

What made you choose recruitment as a career?

I am a ‘people person’ and Recruitment gives me the opportunity to connect with people across the globe and from different organisations. Not only that, it’s a role that makes an impact on people’s lives. I love helping people achieve their goals!

So, if you are dynamic, love variety in your work day, enjoy a unique set of challenges – recruitment is definitely for you!
