MG, the week that was: COVID19 & staying connected as a team

Dear MG Family

These are extraordinary circumstances we now find ourselves in. Indeed, it was two weeks ago that we made the decision to work remotely to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees, customers and suppliers. Since then, well, I don’t think any of us could have imagined the sheer scale of COVID19 and the effect it would have on our friends, family and loved ones.

In times of adversity, it’s amazing to see the outstanding work being completed by our employees. From Munich to Madrid; Liverpool to Katowice; Timisoara to Zagreb  – we’ve adapted to the most challenging of conditions – including several earthquakes in Zagreb – in such an assured manner, with no disruption to our key services.

It’s a credit to the whole team that under such stress and heartache comes true courage and determination. Determination to provide for our clients and customers, to stay calm under pressure and remain positive under any circumstances.

We’ve assessed the current situation, considering our clients, customers and projects, and feel we are in a strong position going forward. Having been operating for 23 years on a global scale, we are confident that this history and pedigree within the industry will stand us in good stead.

Indeed, the flexibility and fluidity of our agile workforce has ensured that we’ve been able to provide our clients reassurance in these testing times. From project delivery to offering our customers the newest roles in IT, Telecoms and Engineering, we’re confident in our ability to adapt and perform, no matter the conditions.

Of course, our main concern is that you all remain safe and well. With this in mind, we’d like to say a big thank you to our Chinese partner company FESCO in Changzhou, China for donating 4000 masks to Manning Global. We will ensure they get put to good use and distributed to the right places.

Stay strong. Stay connected. Let’s pull together and beat this.

Rachael, Michel & Team MG.
