What made you interested in working in finance?
I’ve always been drawn to the structure and logic behind finance. It combines analytical thinking with real-world impact – every number tells a story about people, businesses, and economies. My engineering background gave me a strong problem-solving mindset, and finance allows me to apply that in a way that directly influences growth and decision-making.
What is the best thing about your job at Manning Global?
The best part is the collaborative culture. Even though we come from diverse technical and business backgrounds, there’s a strong sense of support and knowledge-sharing. It made my transition from a technical role to a broader, solutions-focused position much smoother.
What is your advice to someone considering a career with Manning Global?
Be open to learning and adapting. Manning Global values people who take initiative, embrace new tools quickly, and communicate effectively. If you bring curiosity and a willingness to collaborate, you’ll thrive here!
How do you communicate with other team members when working on shared tasks?
I rely on clear documentation, regular check-ins, and open communication channels. Whether it’s project tracking tools or simple team calls, I make sure everyone is aligned on goals, timelines, and progress. Transparency keeps collaboration smooth!
How do you stay organised and productive while working remotely?
I break my day into focused blocks, keep a prioritised task list, and minimise distractions. I’ve also set up a dedicated workspace – having that separation helps me switch into “work mode”.

What strategies do you use to stay motivated and focused on your financial goals?
I set measurable milestones and track progress consistently. Thinking about long-term financial security and independence keeps me motivated, but I also reward myself for small wins along the way.
How do you adapt to changes in financial regulations or procedures?
I approach changes as opportunities to upgrade my knowledge. I stay updated through reliable sources, training sessions, and discussions with peers, then integrate those changes step by step into my workflow to ensure compliance and accuracy.
What recent financial trends or changes have you found most interesting or impactful?
The rise of AI and automation in financial operations is fascinating. It’s transforming the way companies analyse risks, manage compliance, and optimise processes – and I see huge potential for efficiency gains.
How do you stay organised and make sure your work is accurate?
I double-check critical figures, document assumptions, and use digital tools to track details. My engineering background has made me meticulous with accuracy, so I combine that with regular reviews before finalising any work.
Can you share an experience where you had to learn a new tool or software quickly?
When I started working with SAP LMS, I had to pick it up on the go. I learned through hands-on practice, exploring documentation, and reaching out to experienced colleagues. Within a short time, I was not only confident but also able to help others troubleshoot issues.
How do you unwind and relax after a busy day at work?
I usually read about history, wars, or technology – subjects that fascinate me – or I play video games. Both help me switch off from work and recharge creatively.

Can you share a piece of advice or a lesson you’ve learned that has helped you in your career?
One key lesson is: adaptability beats perfection! The world of work is fast-changing, and being flexible, quick to learn, and open to feedback has helped me progress more than chasing flawless execution.
What was your first ever job?
My first job was as a Product Solutions Engineer working with SAP systems. It taught me how technology underpins modern business processes and gave me a strong foundation in structured problem-solving.
What’s your proudest professional accomplishment?
Transitioning from a purely technical background into a solutions-focused role where I could interact with clients, support projects, and see real impact. It proved to me that I could grow beyond my comfort zone.
Who do you look up to the most? (Both professionally and personally)
Professionally, I admire leaders who combine vision with empathy – people who drive innovation while supporting their teams. Personally, I look up to those who maintain integrity and resilience no matter the circumstances.
If you could listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably something timeless, maybe an instrumental piece. I like music that sets a mood without words; it helps me focus and reflect.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Don’t be afraid to start where you are, with what you have.” It reminds me that progress matters more than perfect conditions.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy reading about modern weaponry, history, and geopolitics. I also enjoy gaming and creating content – it keeps me engaged and creative.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The ability to slow down time. It would let me learn more, experience more, and manage both work and passions without rushing.
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
I can dive deep into historical events or modern military tech and explain them like stories. People often tell me I make even complex topics engaging.
What is your life motto?
Keep learning, keep evolving. I believe growth comes from constant curiosity and adaptability.
Finally, what’s next on your list? How do you want to improve yourself in 2026?
My next step is to sharpen my expertise in finance and strategy while building stronger leadership and communication skills. I want to continue developing the balance between technical depth, financial acumen, and people-focused growth.
